2008 Ford Taurus X
Bought mine used about five years ago with 90k on the clock. Now has 160k. Motor still pulls strong (actually better than the review led me to believe) and there have been ZERO mechanical issues. This car is more reliable than a 2017 Ford I bought brand new at the dealership.
Cargo room is also much more usable than the “higher end” Lincoln MKT. had a 2011 version of that model and … sold it after my 5 year old was already too tall to fit in the 3rd row seat. For my money, this is a nicer car than that one regardless of the badge on the front. It has most of the same amenities and none of the downsides (expensive maintenance, poor design, etc.).
