2022 Cadillac XT6
I had leased a 2019 CT6 and loved it. I regretted not buying it at the end of the lease. In 2022 I was planning on leasing a Cadillac XT6. But with the microchip shortage at the time and the deleted features it caused, I went with a Lexus SUV. It was a long 3 years. I couldn’t wait to get into an XT6. I lucked out and stumbled across an extremely loaded 2022 pre-owned XT6. It was well … taken care of. It has plenty of power and the transmission shifts so seamlessly. The cabin is quiet. The ride is very smooth. I find it difficult to criticize anything about it. If I have to criticize something, it would be the tires breaking free under hard in two wheel drive, which is front wheel drive, the torque steer is unnerving. So, I leave it in AWD all of the time. It probably cost me a mile or two per gallon. But it provides better performance. Even in AWD, the tires get a little loose. It may be the result of poor tires, not necessarily a short coming of the XT6. The auto shut off feature (shuts off engine while stopped) is very annoying. You can shut this function off, but it only last for the duration of the trip. It is reactivated every time the car is shut off at the end of the trip. Criticisms aside, I love my XT6. I get a lot of compliments as well.
