I've had the BMW i4 e35 for about 4 months now, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. The ride is smooth and quiet. The handling is sporty. And the acceleration, even in the e35 is exhilarating. It is a joy to drive.
This is my first electric car and any anxiety I had about owning one have been put to rest. Range has not been an issue. BMW recommends you charge the battery … to only 80% (about 200 miles) to preserve long term battery life. Even so, the battery has never been below 20% charge for me. I drive about 40 miles to work round trip, and drive to a few meetings during the day. I have never had to use a public charger. My 40a charger at home charges the car from 20% to 80% in under 3 hours.
The car is loaded with technology and features. It will take me months to explore all of them. The large touch display is the perfect size. And, I have had no issues with CarPlay.
It's a great car and a great value.
