Forty five year ago I pulled into a Subaru dealership by mistake, it was next to the Ford dealership where I planned on visiting to purchase a new Ford Bronco. While turning around the salesman standing in the lot asked if he could help me. I stopped and thought, Might as well check out the station wagon. I purchased my first Subaru that day.(a DL 1600 4WD) That was 12 Subarus ago. We … have had up to 3 Subarus at one time. My last purchase was a 2009 Forester. It now has 200003 miles. With the exception of timing belts and the normal head gasket replacement it has served me well.
We just purchased a new 2024 Forester Premium ,I'm going on 73 years old and I hoping it will be my last . Subaru had a slogan "Cheap to Keep" that may not be so now but I have never been let down while owning one. My wife and I love the way this vehicle handles and all the gingerbread features it offers compared to our 2009 Forester.
