Used 2022 Toyota RAV4 Prime Consumer Reviews
Too much Reflection
Love the vehicle. Hate the reflective nature of silver trim on dash in my mirrors. Does it have to be silver? I have a 2018 Chevy Volt. Getting 50 miles per charge. Would love for Toyota to bring their battery charge up

Best car ever!
I absolutely love my 2021 RAV4 Prime! I wanted to get an SUV that is a hybrid plug in. I did my research and decided that I feel more confident buying a Toyota over a Hyundai or a Ford, which are the best other options. It drives so smoothly! The seats are very comfortable and there is lots of storage space. It is easy to charge in your driveway or garage, but you don’t need to worry about recharging on longer trips because the hybrid will kick in when the electric charge runs out. For daily commutes and errands, the electric charge will last for the day and you can charge it up at night.

2023 RAV4 Driver legroom is too short!
I tried 2022 and 2023 models, several trim lines, I'm 6' 1", top of legs rub the steering wheel, bottom of thighs won't rest on seat, no matter how far back I adjust the seat. Results in cramped legs and hip pain on long trips. Driver legroom only rated at 41", that's ridiculous. I need at least 43" legroom. Wanted the RAV4 but will have to pick something else like the Subaru Outback, I fit in that vehicle.

WE have both the SE and XSE
We were lucky to purchase two 2021 RAV4 primes below MSRP. My wife has the SE and daughter the XSE. Both are getting up to 52 miles in ALL electric mode, 10 more miles than stated. With the Federal credit and state rebates, They are about the cost of a regular hybrid XSE since the $7500 federal tax credit provided a great incentive. We believe the RAV4 primes will provide 250,000 plus miles with ease and low maintenance cost. I am amazed at the efficiency of the RAV4 Prime. It serves our needs. I'm still driving my original 2000 Toyota Tundra. After 21 years, I expect it to outlast me. UPDATE: I have owned a 2021 toyota Rav3 prime SE since new . I was surprised that this plug in EV received more than the 42 electric range. the most I have received after 3 plus years of service, just yesterday, I received 55 all electric range, Now this is called great engineering by toyota. I slow charge the battery each night using 110V. it works and I am guessing its better for the battery?
