Used 2006 Subaru Baja Consumer Reviews
Versatility is a quality itself
This car is the definition of versatility. You can have a big car, a sedan style drive, a reliable hauler. If you have an outdoorsy lifestyle, it is the best way to go. Yet to see a better way to carry my mountain bike.
Best Vehicle
The Baja's supple blend of sport and utility is superior. I went from a full size F-150 to the Baja and it has made life so much easier.

A great little truck
This truck with the options for the bed extender does everything I want it to do. It drives like a car and really hauls the stuff.
Happy Harry Homeowner Car
Subaru really dropped the ball with its insistence on targeting 20-something males when marketing this vehicle. It's a GREAT car. With the midbody hatch, trips to the lumberyard are a breeze. I write in 2024, and my 2006 Baja still gets "will you sell it" inquiries everywhere I go. The Baja's especially handy if, like me, you live in a rural area, where you have to haul your own trash to the dump. One other miss by Subaru was not to offer a cap for the cargo bed. I've been trying for ages to get an after-market cap, but they get snapped up just as soon as they're listed online. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Subaru, bring Baja the trusty Baja (with a few improvements)! Have you not noticed that Hyunday has come out with a virtual copy of the ahead-of-its-time Baja?

True utility vehicle
Smooth ride, excellent handling, and a ton of cargo space. The tailgate cage and the rear seat pass through allowed me to safely and easily transport some nine foot long 2x12 pieces of lumber. I wish Subaru still made this vehicle!
