Garbage
Can’t pull a hill pulling 6000 pounds goes from 60mph to 54mph this is with the 6.7 Cummins. Drivers seat reclines on its own. Box floor is so thin it pops under your feet from metal flexing!

$85,000 pile of trash
Special ordered the vehicle. Received it in December. -20 below 0 and the dealer left it outside. Dead batteries and wouldn’t start. Currently 8 recalls of which none have been fixed. Two recalls are due to engine fires. Owners have been told to park vehicles outside and away from other vehicles due to fire hazard. I have been waiting over a year for repairs. Dealer says no parts available. Only 3,000 miles on vehicle over two years. I’m afraid to drive it! Numerous check engine lights and all kinds of electrical problems. Dealer service is non existent! DO NOT BUY RAM EVER!!! UPDATE: I bought this truck new, and still face recall problems. The recalls have ranged from engine fires, transmission, fires, and numerous electrical and sensor problems. The truck was shipped without sensors in the exhaust, and there are still no sensors available so that we call is incomplete. Just received another recall today, and there is no fix for it. Dealers response is totally inadequate, they don’t know when they will get parts blaming Antis for the problem. The truck is nearing three years old and has 4000 miles on it because of do not drive recommendations from the factory. I have Ram for 25 years. Never again. Total piece of junk, and the dealership does not stand behind them.

Emissions Malfunction
I bought this vehicle new. Idle to drive hours is optimal, but the vehicle is plagued with Malfunction Indicator/Check Engine Light. I was informed it is a problem with the emissions system with no known solution from the manufacturer.

My 3rd Ram 2500
Purchased a 2024 Ram 2500 in June 2023 and received it in January. Had a 2015, same truck. New truck is trying too hard to compete which has ruined the truck. First thing you’ll notice is the ‘bump resonance’ in the frame. Every time you hit a bump, the truck shakes it off. This is really annoying. I even dropped the tire pressure to 50psi to calm it down. The older truck not so, nice and smooth. They upgraded the side view mirrors which are horrible. My older truck had infallible side view mirrors, totally confident driving. The new ones you struggle to figure out what’s happening next to your truck, try driving at night on a busy interstate. The vehicle function setup is as bad as our Audi. Too complex so as to compete with other vehicles. I miss just pressing a button for the heated steering wheel and seat. Now you have to peck thru the computer to find it. The radio is the same to the point you’ll have an accident trying to tune in a favorite station. I can’t image who the heck thinks their design is hip. For $75k what a way to ruin a good truck. After all we wanted a truck to haul and plow, not a dumbed down toy. Oh yeah, they eliminated the shifter for a knob, why?? Did it save $5?? You’ll be grabbing for the shifter constantly. Good luck Dodge.

2500 Power Wagon
We have had vehicle 1 and a half months. The first day off the lot it would not start it had to be jumped. Since then it has had all kinds of system warnings flashing. It has not started five times. Constantly in the shop. It has had the recall updates installed and still having problems. We are beginning to feel like we bought a new expensive LEMON 🍋.

Awful paint
This truck has the worst orange peel I've ever seen coming out of the factory. Mopar should be ashamed for letting an 88k dollar truck leave the factory like this. I'm mad at myself for even taking it off the lot.

Great performing truck
Extremely comfortable ride, great features, great price for all the options available.
Extremely uncomfortable for tall drivers
How do you make such a huge truck so uncomfortable for tall drivers? There is absolutely no headroom in this truck. The seats don’t adjust down and there is a huge sloping bump right where a drivers head is supposed to be. In all honesty the engineers of this truck should be embarrassed. I fit better in a Mini Cooper than this truck…. Sad

BIG
This Ram replaced a years old Toyota Tundra. Have had Ram for 2 weeks and so far so good. It is way bigger than the half ton Tundra and rides rougher. Ram is a mid-trim as was Tundra (SR5), but Ram has lots more bells & whistles. Haven't towed yet but tow mirrors are good (Tundra needed after market) and Ram 5th wheel prep is very convenient for a goose neck hitch. Trailer tire pressure readout is a real safety device. Didn't need Mega Cab but was all that was available - rather had Crew Cab and 8' bed. Power (6.4 gas) is OK (lighter Tundra was quicker despite smaller motor). Miles driven didn't justify diesel. Ergonomics and comfort are very good. Truck has Off-Road package and I guess that's why it's so tall but it's a nuisance getting in and out, even with side steps
