What a car
I have owned 2 Accords and 2 Camry. All four were purchased new. My intrigue was purchased new. It has been the best by far. End of story. I have replaced the battery, tires(twice) and breaks(twice- I break WAY late) and done all regular maintenance.
Love Hate
I have a love/hate relationship with this car. I love the engine, the styling, and the comfort. However, I have had more visits to the dealership than I wish to mention. Most of the problems are those you would not expect from a car that cost this much. It all started with having the steering wheel column replaced because of grinding gears. This was two months after purchase. Then there was the carpet having to be re-installed, the windshield wiper motor replaced, A/C blower replace, left front wheel bearings...... This will be my last GM! My vehicle prior to this was a Grand Am that was repurchased by GM because it was a Lemon!!!

Familiarity...ouch.
Great acceleration. It's so quiet that I forget if it's even on when I'm parked. But, as someone has said before me, the ABS, power steering and shock system all have problems. A lot of knocking around and a very stiff drive. I took mine in to get it inspected, and it passed with flying colors, but I still have problems with the suspension and a horrible wobbling with the ABS. Also, the power steering somehow affects the drivability and acceleration around corners-in a bad way.
intrigue
the oldsmobile intrigue is a good car. But it has its downs too. i like this car cause it looks good, it fits 6ft tall adults comfortable in every seat. when someone backed up on me and it was a big jeep and it didnt do anything to my car. and it has lots of power in it, for a big car it tops out at 130 mph. for my car i only had to replace the window motors, blinkers, flywheel, and a oil leak, and thats all. its also good on gas 30 to 35 mpg on highway.
OldmoJOKE
Whoever came up with the vehicle assembly on this car should be punched square in the pants. No matter what you need to get to on the car, there's something in the way. I have to fix something in it at least every two weeks. The struts have gone out twice since i got it 3 years ago. All in all, I would suggest staying as far away as possible.
