I figured the stalling problem out!
I finally figured the stalling problem out after mechanics told me they did not find anything wrong with the car at all. Its a piece of the vacuum lines that usually messes up over sometime. It only took me day to find it. Its a cheap part $2.03 no more problems for now. GM mechanics need to go back to school. I just started working on my cars just year ago. If anyone has this car and has problems email me.
Original Owner, Want to Sell
This has been an excellant car and fun to drive. Too bad they don't make them any more. We would like to sell the car, which is in show room condition with original paper work, to a person who would value it.

1991 oldsmobile cutlass supreme sl
I just bought car just recently it drove good for the first two weeks and stalls out. Then also gets a rough idle every once in a while. I wonder if anyone else is having problems with it stalling out and figured it out. I have 3.1 v6 and it suppose to get good gas mileage and its horrible. I took it to repair shop to get the idling and stalling problem fixed and they could find anything wrong with. Other then the stalling out like out of the blue it runs really good.
Keeps on Chuggin'
I love my Oldsmobile. It is fast and powerful, even after at least 12 years in service. I've had it for 2.5 yrs now, and only now, after 150K miles is it starting to show any signs of finally starting to give up. Everything inside still works great, esp. the AC, and I've only had the battery die on me a few times (my own fault) and a leak in the power steering fluid...altho the digital dashboard odometer, speedometer, and gas gauge go out once in a while and take a few minutes to come back on. Besides that, no major complaints.
Master Blaster
Although I have a stripped version with manual windows (couldn't believe this...) I still rate this as the best car I have ever driven (and I have driven many "great" cars). The performance and mileage are amazing. I love the ease with which it's driven and the lack of mayor problems (everything dies sometimes...the question is why, where and how...). I can drive 1,000 miles and I feel like I am standing up from the coach after watching TV! Driving is painless! If I've had all the powered things inside I would never give it up. I reccomend it to everyone - this car rocks! Even mothers-with-child can't help and look on the street!
Awesome Olds
I've had the car for three years and I love it. I have never been stranded and it has 150,000 miles right now and burns only a minamal amount of oil. About a qt. in 3,000 miles. The car runs great.
awesome!!!!!!!!!
This car was awesome to me. It was my first car and best car i have ever had. i had the car for 10 years and during that time ive never gotten stuck somewhere, never had to get new battery, never had to get major repairs, nothing. it truly was the best car ever for me!
OLDS CUTLASS IS GREAT
I have had lots of cars over the years but i have been so happy with the two olds cutlass i have had I had to say something. i got 1 with 100k miles and my son put another 65k on it without a hitch... and a first car at that. I have a second one and it has done just as well. if you see one.... buy it
Still Runs Like New
I inherited this car from my parents in 1996. It has 262,000 miles on it and still runs like new. As long as you do regular maintenance (oil changes, tune ups, tires etc) this car will take car of you.
olds
So far the car handles well except for a few minor problems. I feel that it is safe for both my 7 mont hold son and I.
great car
Ours has 167,000 miles on it, we've only changed an alternator, two batteries and tires. What more could you ask?
Miss my Olds
We purchased Ol' Bessie for my 16th birthday. She was my first car and as such, she was perfect. I loved the way the car handled, and it rode like a dream. The 3.1 liter engine was modest which helped eek out approx. 30 mpg for me (i drove mostly on 4 lane highways) but was still powerful enough to win me a few dollars here and there. Looking back, I feel horrible that I didn't maintain her like i should have. If I kept up with oil changes and regular shop visits I would still be driving her today. Ol' bessie will always have a special place in my heart, as most first cars do...
not needed
too much annoying troubles
223,000 Miles + and still purring
I love my Cutlass! After over 223,000 miles it still rides like a new car. It rides like new because of regular and proper maintenance. There is no rust anywhere, the engine burns no oil, the transmission works perfectly and everything works just like it did when it rolled out of the factory. The single minor blemish is that the brakes need a little more maintenance than other cars. I usually keep the trip odometer on instead of the regular odometer and people are always surprised to see how many miles it has on it.
1991 Cutlass Supreme 4-dr
Runs great. Has 134,000 miles but runs like new. Had no major problems except had to replace the computer. I keep up on oil changes. Well maintained. Bought it with 109,000 miles. Previous owner changed oil every 3,000 miles. Peppy (3.1liter)car. Good second car. Room for 2 middle school kids and wife. Converted the air conditioning to the new standards. Easy change. Pumps out the cold pretty good.
Best to date
excellent car. Good looks for a 1991 vehicale, the 3.1 can squeal the tires pretty well. the interior has a few problems after 12 years, some loose trim, but easy to repair. Nice big trunk, the wheel key is also a nice feature, the seats are comfortable. The car gets great gas milage, especially the way i drive. Engine picks up well from any speed but, lags a bit around 35-40 mph during extreme acceleration. Top speed so far is 110mph. My biggest peeve is the power door locks only work when they feel like it (probably because the car is 12 years old).

This car has been a great car for my wife since 1991. She still loves it. It has 44,000 miles and has only required brakes and a serpentine belt. At present, it's in showroom shape. She loves it, however it will be sold in 2006.
The best car I ever owned!
This car lasted for 12 years! We bought it new in 1991. Never had to replace anything major on it and got 183,000 miles out of it. They should make all cars like they made this one.
