Just purchased 3 weeks ago, brand new. So far, as good as my 2018 Titan.

When shopping for a new truck I drove them all. Big 3 and Toyota were all half tons. Went to a dealership who had an XD, and I was highly impressed after the test drive. The seats, zero gravity seats, are a game changer. I have no clue why the professional reviewers rip this truck. I negotiated with several dealers and could not pass up the Titan with the deal I got. I would have gladly paid big 3 prices for the quality of the truck, but saving 15k over any of the others was a no brainer. 12k miles with no issues and no regrets. The truck handles towing duties way better than any half ton I have had, the Titan is in another league.

Underrated Truck

This is my 3rd Titan. We have taken our Titan XD all around the West coast. Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Iowa, Washington, Utah, Arizona> We have owned a 2011 Chevy Silverado, 2008 Tundra, 2001 F150, 2004 Ram 1500, 2019 Titan Pro4X, 2020 Pro4X and now a 2010 Titan XD PRO4X.. Everyone knocks down the Titan because it only comes with one engine choice. All critics say it cannot tow that much so the truck isn't worth it. I had a 2008 Tundra and towed 12000 lbs from Allentown PA to Gilbert AZ and it never struggled. I had a 2005 For Excursion and towed a 30 foot camper which weighed about 8000 lbs fully loaded. My Titan XD is more powerful than my Tundra was and I know I can tow more than 12000 lbs with it. Nissan says you cannot tow more than 9600 lbs. The Japanese have always been very conservative with their estimates. They are conservative in their MPG numbers and they are conservative in their towing numbers. Driving through Utah along the I15 we averaged 95 to 100MPH and used Sinclair premium with no Ethanol and was able to get 23.5 MPG. Nissan wouldn't even give mileage estimates on the XD because it is a heavy duty truck. This is a great truck, great ride for a truck, very powerful, does the job.

My 2018 Titan XD Sv has 265 60 R 20 tires. one drawback is the clearance between the front tires and fender liners when making sharp or left hand turns. The tires will Rub on the inner part of the mud flaps/mud guards. I wanted to put longer mud guards on it and wider, Not able to do so due the rubbing issues. If I pick up mud or snow on the tires they really rub. Anyone else had this problem or issue please [contact information removed] with suggestions. Hard on fuel cost
