A Tale of Two Personalities
Though I have only had my car for a few weeks, I have already fallen in love with it. I bought my 2019 Maserati Quattroporte S GranLusso with 49k on the odometer from a dealer in Texas. Outside, the car is mint. Ding free, the black paint shines and is rich and there are no swirls in the clear coat. Inside, the leather seats look brand new with minimal signs of wear. I wish the same could be said with the buttons next to the gear selector and the wood trim on the center console, but those are the few minor issues I’ve had. The rest of the car feels super solid and luxurious. That includes the Bower and Wilken sound system, which sounds excellent. In addition, the driver suite of safety features works great. The lane keep assist is abrupt, but does an excellent job of keeping you centered. Also, the Highway Assist package does an excellent job of easing my long commutes. Even the fuel economy has been great. I’ve been averaging between 24 and 28 mpg on my trips. This is an excellent and comfortable cruiser that has a fun side. When put into sport mode with the sport suspension, the ride becomes noticeably firmer and the car seems to shrink in size. At the end of the day, it’s a package that feels, sounds, and drives like something special and that is obtainable to the middle class. I love this car, and though I would not recommend it new, as a use vehicle where someone with deeper pockets has taken on the depreciation, I cannot recommend it enough. Yes, the maintenance and insurance will be higher than a typical midsized sedan, but if you are comfortable doing some basic work on your own, and find the right car, you have the potential of owning something special.

Horrible interior material
Beautiful car but if you live in hotter climates beware. The dashboard will shrink and Maserati care will not fix this even if you are 2000 miles over mileage for the warranty.
