I owned a Nissan Armada and was looking to downsize from that beast (which I was happy with overall). Drove several mid-sized SUVs and the RX was the last one I drove. As soon as I sat in one, I loved it! Lots of technology in any of the luxury SUVs, so no surprise that this Lexus had all that I needed. Thought that I would want the Apple car-play that I had experience with on a Cadillac rental. This is now offered on the latest NX models, but not on the RX (next year?). However, with the large screen, the Nav system that I happen to like (navigation on the Nissan sucked IMO), and the Enforma app on the RX, it does every thing that I need. My Iphone and music from my phone work well with the RX. Driving performance is great. I spend a lot of time in Sport mode and am very satisfied with acceleration in that mode. A little sluggish acceleration-wise in Eco mode, but hey, that’s why the Sport mode exists, right? I play music and occasionally have to haul a small PA and a couple of guitars. No problems there. It’s no Armada in terms of space, though I was pleasantly surprised on how roomy the rear hatch is (no third row seat in this model). Only one real complaint would be that the remote start function relies strictly on the Enforma app. There is an $80 per year cost for the app. I guess if I was going to complain about $80, I wouldn’t be buying a Lexus. No real complaints, though. It has a great look. Lots of compliments on the lines on the exterior. I bought silver (can’t remember the official color name), which is beautiful. The folks at Mungenast Lexus in St. Louis were awesome and took good care of me in the delivery and going over the features (if you are over 50, take the time to let the dealer tech person show you everything. I’m a happy guy!

The Lexus dealerships go out of their way to make you comfortable while they are taking YOUR money. lol. I have truly enjoyed driving this baby. People always comment that they love my SUV. There is an argument among drivers if a Lexus is in the same ballpark at a Mercedes. YES it is! Both are high end cars and I would prefer a Lexus over a Mercedes because the Lexus hardly needs any maintenance. Tire rotation and oil changes are about it. Low Maintenance car. NOT so with a Mercedes Benz. They spend a lot of time in the shop.

Familiar, but fresh. The F Sport trim is a nice step up. The transmission seems to find the right gear much better than the 2016 RX 350.

This is my third RX (2019) and it's the best so far with it's sleek lines. I bought the Atomic Silver and have received many compliments on the color. It is such a smooth ride and I love driving it. All Pro's and no Con's.

Car is beautiful! It’s total luxury. Love the gps screen. It’s large and easy to see. The seats are nice except the down side is the front seats are a lithe short for me. If they were an extra 2 inches long they’d be super comfy and the back lumbar could be bettter. Rides very smooth and it’s a solid car! Handles well in curves and overall a very nice car.
