Great midsize SUV
We purchased a Lexus hybrid so that we can travel without having to recharge mid- trip. The technology is amazing, it drives really well with great pickup and power. The cameras and sensors provide a panoramic view virtually eliminating blind spots. Sound quality is exceptional. So far we are totally satisfied with our new SUV.

Almost like the bigger RX
This new design model has improved greatly over the previous year model in both appearance and performance. Interior is especially great, infotainment system has been totally revamped and everything works perfectly. Cloud-based Nav, wireless CarPlay, etc., are all excellent. I believe the software gets updated automatically OTA. Ride is plush and comfortable, road imperfections and bumps are hardly noticeable, road noise isn’t significant, and overall its almost as quiet as the bigger RX. Everything feels like a Lexus is known for. Rear legroom is also comfortable and much better than I expected for a compact size SUV. MPG is fantastic, exceeding the EPA estimates (in good weather, I am averaging 44-45 mpg in city and around 41-42 in highway). Overall, this new NX has has far exceed my expectations so far.

Wireless Q1 phone charger doesn't work
Car is excellent in most respects, EXCEPT wireless Q1 phone charger doesn't work. It goes off after a minute or so and then is intermittent. I talked to dealer, which talked to Lexus, as dealer has had many complaints about this. Lexus reported you have to take the cover off phone for it to work. Dealer also said if phone moves in the tray as the car moves, it will stop charging. Don't count on this working on your 350h.

I love my new 350h
After test driving Tesla Model Y, Lexus RX 350, we decided on the NX 350h. We have to wait 6 months to get it. But we love the 2022 NX 350h - a lot ! Front look is more impressive than the RX. If you are over 6' tall or you have an army of kids to haul around, I don't think this is the right car for you. But for us, it's perfect. The A25A engine (Atkinson cycle) and electrical motor/generator combo will not produce the power of a 6-cynlinder. But I have no complaint about the 40mpg for the 1st 3200 miles. AWD is fantastic - my wife accidentally hit over 90 mph in heavy rain and she didn't feel a thing. 2 things I don't like: 1, controls are far more complicated than needed - the user manual and the booklets in total are 2-7/8" thick. 2, there is NO spare wheel because the car comes with run-flat tires. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this vehicle.

Meh ...
We got a 2023 Lexus 350h in early December for my wife. Here are my impressions after 1st month of ownership. First, this isn't a "luxury" SUV. Yes, it is somewhat premium, with nicer quality interior and somewhat more quiet than a RAV4, for example, but it doesn't reach the same standard as true luxury brands line Mercedes or BMW. I would put if half-way between mainstream SUVs like Ford Escape and RAV4 and real luxury brands. It is comparable to a Mazda or a nicely outfitted KIA or Hyundai. The most redeeming characteristic of this car is mileage. When one buys a supposedly luxury vehicle, one expects a combination of comfort and driving dynamics. The NX falls short on both. It is reasonably peppy, but definitely not fast. Handling and steering is just like any other compact SUV, nowhere near as engaging and precise as any of the German brands. The interior is reasonably quiet, except when you hit the gas. The engine is noisy and has an unpleasant harsh tone. It is acceptably quiet at moderate highway speeds and gentle city driving - but so is my daughter's KIA Soul which cost 1/3 of the Lexus. The ride is stiff, but the stiffness doesn't reflect good cornering performance. The seat back are nicely shaped, but the bottom cushion suffers from the same problem as all Lexus and Toyota vehicles - it's very narrow and short. I am 5'7, 160 lb, and I find the seat to be midget-sized. My knees hang in the air with no support, making longer drives very uncomfortable. Cargo space is very small for the size of the vehicle and, unlike its German counterparts, it basically can't tow (2000 lb "tow package" is ridiculous). It's too early to say if it will be reliable, but with only 500 miles it's already showing the same rattles and squeaks as all Toyota products. It WAS quite for the first few days, but now the plasticky interior is already rattling when driving over uneven surface.
