If I just use it for my morning commute it gets a steady 999 miles per gallon. No joke. Just drive lesson that 32 miles a day, and plug it in. Nothing to complain about! On longer trips I use in all electric mode for city driving and then force it into HEV for the highway. I consistently get 60mpg when doing it this way. The only thing to complain about here is that it isn't a minivan. If you use the third row, no, you don't get any meaningful storage in the back. Other than that, nothing here Tom complain about. Epic.

We already have an electric auto and love not buying gas and all the other positives of an EV. We like to travel and go to areas that don’t really have the infrastructure to charge an EV so we traded our gas suv for the plug in hybrid luxury Kia Sorrento. This suv is just as luxurious as our trade in Lexus 350 F sport ( top of the line) and gets ridiculous high mpg so far. It gets 32 miles on pure battery which is enough on most days not to use fuel. So far we have 585 miles on the car and have used less than one gallon of gas that was provided buy our dealer . We charge during off peak hours at 6 cents/ KW. Very inexpensive. The car has tremendous safety equipment, rides great, fully luxury amenities like cooled seats, etc. Highly recommend!

Both comfy and dare I say (almost luxurious - in SX Prestige trim); very pleased after first year of ownership of Sorento PHEV, fuel savings are excellent!! (And no range anxiety!)

Used on Mountain, great in winter. Had many long car rides, and it was very comfortable And has great space
