From the first day I traded my 2020 Sonata for a 2021 sel Granted I saved $40 a month but whenever it rained the cars anti-collision control system would try to stop the car not fun in Florida while doing 60 on the highway and running into a thunderstorm. I went through the lemon Law process and waiting for the buyback price from Hyundai! Been in a rental since 8/30 now 2/6

The better than five star car.

We have owned the Sonata for over 2 years now. It has been a surprise pleasure to drive, and the gas mileage seems to be a little unreal. On the highway we are getting between 40 and 45 miles per gallon, and in the city between 35 and 38 miles per gallon.

This car truly stands out in offering pure safety features as well as good looks, Hyundai did it again with this most recent style redo, I loved my 2017 Sonata Sport Tech Package, but my new 2021 SEL With the Convenience package is another home run

Avoid this car

I bought this car about 3 weeks ago. The car has had nothing but issues after the initial 2 weeks. In 2 weeks I drove the car maybe 300 miles. Since then the cars engine light has turned on. Initially I was told it was an electrical component that needed to be swapped in the car would be ready within 7 days (4 days for the component to ship etc. ) I was called today and was told the engine harness needs to be replaced as well as that is no longer a functioning. This replacement will take 6 to 8 weeks. I would avoid this car at all cost. Not worth the headache. To top it all off the dealership service department is sub par.
