Poudre Valley REA, Inc offers EV owners a rebate of 50% up to $1000 towards the installation and cost of a Level 2 charging station.

To qualify for this rebate, the customer and/or charging station must meet the following requirements:

• Receive electricity from Poudre Valley REA, Inc.
• Have purchased or leased an electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle.

Additional Information:

• For full $1,000 rebate, members need to enroll in the DriveEV Smart Charging Rewards or Time of Use program. Without participation, members are eligible for a rebate of 50% up to $250 toward the cost of equipment and installation.

The Colorado Department of Revenue offers the Innovative Motor Vehicle Tax Credit, up to $3,500 for the purchase of an eligible new all-electric, plug-in hybrid, or hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle. To qualify:

• Credit amount for a qualifying vehicle beginning on or after 1/1/2025 but prior to 1/1/2026: $3,500.
• MSRP of vehicle including manufacturer installed optional equipment must be $80,000 or less.
• Gross Vehicle Weight Rating must be 8,500 lbs. or less.
• Motor vehicle must be titled and registered in Colorado to qualify for the credit.
• The motor vehicle must be new and not previously titled or registered in any jurisdiction.

Additional information:

• If utilizing at point-of-sale, an additional credit of $600 is allowed if assigning the entire allowable credit to a financing entity or motor vehicle dealer. An administration fee up to $250 may apply and reduce the total credit to $3,850.

• MSRP of vehicle including manufacturer installed optional equipment must be $80,000 or less.
• Gross Vehicle Weight Rating must be 8,500 lbs. or less.
• If leasing, agreement must be for an initial term of at least two years.
• Motor vehicle must be titled and registered in Colorado to qualify for the credit.
• The motor vehicle must be new and not previously titled or registered in any jurisdiction.
