Great ride, great performance, incredible leather interior and electronics, great navigation, excellent fit and finish and very dependable! I have a 2009 Honda Fit Sport with 240,000 miles and not one repair needed! You can't go wrong with a Honda Fit!

Reminds me of the Civic of the 90s

I know a lot of people who drives this mostly will be city or rural town cruising with it, but it does well enough on highways too. I'm on about 42mpg and I am moving at 65-70mph. I know I could be hitting 45 or higher MPG if I would just drop to 60mph max speed. Buzzy little engine and, and I think many people who are used to larger and slower turning engines, the jump to high RPM may scare them. Remember Honda is originally a motorcycle company and they known about their small and reliable engines, that can handle high RPM, no problem. Don't be afraid if it hits above 4000rpm during urgent passing and the engine starts singing. It's completely fine, the characteristics changes to a zippy little car with easy and quick steering. As the title says, if it would be the 90s, this will still be a Honda Civic and would be called a compact car and not a subcompact car. I have 6000 miles on it so far and yet to have any issues.

Purchased this car new, 126 miles on the odometer (it was the model that dealer used for test drives). YEARS 1 - 2: No problems at all. Compared to many cars in this class, the Fit is quieter and handles better. It also has a decent build quality – much better quality than my 2015 Ford Fiesta (riddled with transmission issues and a leaky roof). YEAR 3 - so far, absolutely nothing has changed. Years 1 - 3 have been trouble free. This is the comparable timeframe where I had my first transmission failure on my 2015 Ford Fiesta. I’m very happy with my Honda Fit and will continue to update, as necessary. No maintenance other than scheduled factory service. YEAR 4 - Car becomes 4 in March. STILL no issues: general upkeep is all that is required. Frankly, I think I want to keep this car until I die, it's been so reliable! Year 5 - see above, add a new set of tires. This is the most reliable car I’ve owned in 40 years!

I have always owned bigger cars, trucks and SUV's but with gas prices and inflation, I needed something not just reliable but more fuel efficient. I saw a used 2015 Honda Fit EX and it only had 36,000 miles. It was clean inside and out looking at it so I did my research. I live in northern USA and I was worried about how the car would do with such a small battery and low ground clearance, but I am absolutely impressed with the cars ability to handle snow and ice. Great reliability and was worth fixing the car up as the previous owner just let it sit and used as a track car. I had to replace the starter, alternator, battery, antenna(it can leak), brakes and rotors, but the car was still very reliable and has gotten me from points A, B all the way through Z. Cons: As a subcompact car, it's noisey and I knew it would be, but it's a very noisy car comparable to a Toyota Yaris. Another con is the low ground clearance. Definitely feel every small bump and pothole, very bumpy ride, but smoother than I thought it would be. Definitely don't go over higher speed bumps, it will scrape up. Also, steep short drives with a deep dip, don't even think about it unless you wanna scrape or crack the bumper some. It's definitely not avoidable but the lower the car, the less clearance you're gonna have. Last con: only a 370 CCA 151R battery, though despite that I have been able to start my car in -42° weather while covered in ice. Once the car gets warm, it gets VERY warm and doesn't have a problem for the rest of the day or two. Definitely wanna start your car at least once a day and run it until warm if in subzero temps. Despite the car's subcompact size, it has plenty of room and storage space. I'm 5ft 6in and a heavy set (230lbs) man, and have no problem in the car at all. I can even lay down in the back with the seats down comfortably and still have room. Great vehicle and very impressive for a subcompact category car. Runs better than my last smaller car which was a Kia soul plus, and runs much better than my Chevy Malibu did. Definitely will be sticking with this car. Update (3yrs in) Only other issue, the OEM antenna can leak, get some RTV sealant and a shark fin. The rear passenger door behind the driver side can leak into the car if the plastic lining inside the door starts to wear away, just pop off the door panel (2 screws) and reseal it with some RTV sealant, it works! Other than that, no complaints.
