Used 2009 Honda Fit Consumer Reviews
Everything I Wanted
We bought a white Honda Fit in November and just love it. I did a lot of research before deciding on the Fit and don't regret my decision at all. In fact, I don't feel envious at all of those more expensive luxury models on the road. The Fit is very practical, but still manages somehow to have a sense of fun. Many people who thought I was crazy for buying a Fit are now very impressed. Overall, a very well thought out little car that doesn't feel cramped.
This car breathes
I'm 6'3 200lbs and plenty of room to spare in the car. I love manual transmission cars, and wow is the Fit a real treat. They've designed the engine in such a way that there is always enough over-lapping torque. Ie. Downshifting especially in traffic is extremely smooth. As a result, I'm never hesitant about going in overdrive. Unlike almost all other manual shifting cars, the Fit seems to always get enough air into the engine. It feels like it has the lung capacity of Michael Phelps inside Shawna Johnson's body. It may sound odd to others, but I actually love to drive this car slow. The engine really knows how to purr with little sips of gas.

Love the 09 Fit
Recently bought an 09 Fit and so far I'm loving it! Avg. mileage is 39.6; inside is very room. Blue dashboard gauge lights are nice as well as the stereo system. Miss having a center console.
Base Fit = Great value
Got the base Fit because the only feature I really wanted on the Sport was cruise control, and that wasn't worth the extra price. Keyless can be added by buying the transmitter keys online, and I negotiated with my dealer to do the key cutting and programming for free. If you're thinking Base versus Sport, the Base model rides a bit smoother and gets a bit better mileage, while the Sport is definitely "sportier" and it does have a lot of nice add-ons that you may or may not place a great value on. The Base also has a lighter color interior that you may or may not prefer over the Sport.
2009 FIT Sport w/NAVI
This is an ideal subcompact with a high fun to drive factor and great fuel economy (even though it is a bit pricey with navi).
