Love everything about this so far
Everything you could expect in a heavy duty truck. Ride is good mileage is great features good… could use an upgrade on the screen soon but that’s about it

A solid work truck, not a daily driver
As I said in the title, I didn't and wouldn't choose this truck as my casual daily driver. The ride is definitely a more bouncy, "vintage" truck ride compared to the 1500, F150 or similar class trucks. It's also large and not the most maneuverable. The hood is wide and long which affects front visibility. That said, I am very happy with this truck. I pull a 7x18 work trailer with this truck at a little over 3,000 lbs. It doesn't even break a sweat, and the adjustable tow mirrors are great when backing it in. I have the cloth type seats which are actually pretty comfortable for a lower trim. I have the larger screen infotainment which is excellent when using navigation. The ergonomics are good overall. The column shifter seems to be designed for a light touch, so it feels a little flimsy at first, but I got used to it. The multipro tailgate is a cool feature, though admittedly I don't really use it much yet. I will suggest getting running boards, because it is a very tall vehicle. I'm 5'7" and before I put on some aftermarket drop steps, It was a little bit of a hop to get into the cab. There is ample power from the gasoline engine for my needs. It wasn't worth the added cost to go diesel, but if you are towing heavier loads then it may make sense. All in all, there's a lot of convenient features and it was an upgrade from my 2013 1500 series that I traded in. It's a great overall package for a work truck. I just wouldn't want to have to deal with grocery store parking lots or parallel parking as your only vehicle.

2024 2500 Denali
Beautiful truck( burgundy color). However the most uncomfortable truck to drive. It had a spot on the floor board to the left and it’s so uncomfortable to put your foot there. The pedals are uncomfortable as well. My leg actually cramps. Our son 21 year old som took it on a trip a few states away to get another vehicle and he came home & said he wouldn’t drive it again. The seats were uncomfortable too. The cup holders which there are plenty thankfully we use them all but the arrangement isn’t great. They should be side by side instead of in front of one another. Again our truck is gorgeous but no one wants to drive it. We have an 18 High Country which is comfortable to drive. We actually just went and bought this without driving because we loved the look but had no idea the driving part would be so uncomfortable. Plenty of leg room in front & back seats. The mirrors we still haven’t got adjusted correctly. I do love the cruise control option that goes along with Traffic so we don’t rear end anyone. Really of they fixed the pedals & the foot ramp on the left it would help tremendously. It’s needs some of the old style comfort for driving. Love the heated back seat. Everything else I like.

Love the 2024 Ultimate
7K on my truck with no issues at all. I sank it in the MUD and had to get it out. The Tow Truck Drivers (2 trucks) said the frame was the strongest they’ve ever seen. The truck has the best stance and it can do anything I want it to. The seats are not as comfortable as my old King Ranch but I have found a happy place. Love the truck, would consider GMC from now on

The truck isgreat but GMC is dissppointing. A few softeare issues that GMC cannot figure out. The diesel and tranny are great and the red exterior is awesome. Fit ahd finish of interior is very good!
2023 GMC 2500 AT4, aka the Polar Express
Love the big white durmax diesel, allison 10 speed trans and upgraded interior. Bought used with around 12k miles. Once out on the highway at ~75 mph i can get 23 mpg with this big boy. Do not like the fact that the A/C seems to take forever to engage (2-5 minutes sometimes) but will run you out once it "decides" to come on. Ventilation in the seat cooling is minimal compared to previous F250. Steering is very light all around and wish it were heavier at speeds. Stereo is OK, but could be better IMHO. Controls are OK for me once getting used to and i use factory as well as android auto. Truck is very aggressive looking and has all the tow power anyone would want. Very quiet for a 3/4 ton diesel and the turbo will make it scat for sure. It has a dozen camera angles and provides various trailer views when towing and changing lanes. Had never driven one before i bought it but overall very pleased. Have had zero issues.

AT4X HD
The truck, an AT4X HD, has been great so far. It rides better than a regular GMC HD diesel on the highway and handles off-road bumps much more smoothly. The 35” factory tires fill out the wheel wells better and give the truck a more balanced look, IMO.

Horrible abomination
First of all, I would never voluntarily drive that, but I got issued the (probably) cheapest truck available, so now I'm stuck with it. Otherwise I can't explain how in the world where Dodge, Ford and Chevrolet exists, somebody would pick gmc. Ergonomics is absolutely horrendous. Seat is too short, shallow and firm, it feels like a stool (in every meaning). Steering wheel doesn't have telescopic adjustment, so it's too far from the driver. Interior lighting shimmer in the night, causing extreme eyes strain. Headlights beam is too narrow, and spectrum is so bad you have problems distinguishing white from yellow. No idea about reliability, hope it breaks in half soon.
