usinh for my plumbing company . Awesome driving van, very convieant . Great visibility . Blue tooth and reverse camra work great. I did not have a problem with the throttle body like the others I've read, but I did have a problem at about 9k miles with the fuel pump module. Just wouldn't start 1 day, dealer fixed it next day. I've always been a ford guy, I have been with the old econoline' s . They really were indestructible . I love this new transit van, currently have 20k on it. Let's hope they last like the E series.

We are a business that owns several different manufacture brand vans and box trucks. Our most recent purchase was this Transit . We love this van so far the size and access to the cargo area is great. The drive-ability of this van in city traffic is great also. The mirrors and window views are very good for traffic. I love everything about this van so far EXCEPT (there always has to be one of these) We have the 60/40 side doors . The 60 door has a hinge that holds the door at 90 degrees when opened the 40 door has nothing. When opened on a hill or in wind it blows back closed and is just a little annoying. I am surprised that after all the other little details that Ford thought of that they skimped on a tiny bracket to hold the door in position.

This van is poorly built, parts must be made in china. I have had nothing but problems with the air conditioner. I have less that 35,000 miles. side window rubber trim keep coming loose , have to glue it myself.

Had E250 had no problem with it, 195,000 on it. Got the new Transit 150 I have to say that it is the biggest piece of junk I have ever had to drive. Being 6' 2" and 220lbs. There is now comfort zone when driving and getting in and out. Hope Ford goes back and re-think there vans.

DO NOT buy a transit.

Owned transit for 2 weeks put 1,200 miles on its and already broke down. Well I was driving down interstate and acceleration Died pulled over and motor was puttering like a weed eater. Got a tow to the nearest Ford who told me it needed a new throttle body. Then they told me they couldnt even order part till 2 weeks.(since so new) Called back 2 weeks later ....they told me they were able to order but wouldn't receive for another 3 weeks minimum. The worst part... They refused to pay for rental or even loan out a courtesy vehicle. So... It's been 19 days, $1,100 in rental fees and Ford still doesn't know when they will have the part. But if your interested in details about the van.. There's not much to say first of all I get less than 13 miles to the gallon. I can't understand how a 3.7 liter motor can guzzle so much fuel. And no it doesn't have to do with throttle body issue as I know 2 other people with new transits. Terrible gas mileage even with 150 model. I strongly suggest to find other options. These vehicles are put together fast and made cheap so there adorable for ignorant rich business owners to purchase for fleets. If your looking to save time and money don't buy a Ford.
