Perfect fit for those looking for small truck use
Recently purchased a new 2025 Maverick XLT AWD with 4k tow package and XLT Luxury package. This truck fits my needs perfect. Great to haul the wife and kids around as well as doing things for my needs. Did not want to purchase a large truck, just need something I can pull the boat around with, haul a washer or dryer, pick up a load of mulch etc. This truck does all that and then some at the cost of what an average car is today. Love all the tech and safety features as well as the AWD and heated seats. What really sets it off the charts is the ability to start the car from my phone with the Pilot360 upgrade, unlock it, turn on my heated seats all from the palm of my hand. Can be anywhere in the world and start the car, unlock it etc. I currently have 628 miles on it and it's a 2024. Purchased in July 2025 and after rebates and discounts with almost 8k in upgrades, was able to swing a deal at $29,700 for a Maverick stickers at just under $35,000. It's comfortable and the price I paid was a steal for the Ecoboost Turbo. Best part is not having sticker shock for a full size truck at $50k plus that I would hardly use daily. I have the AWD for snow and the gas mileage is currently at almost 30 mpg. That's just at break in so I would expect over 30 mpg when broken in. It's the perfect size for small family looking to use as daily driver, weekend boat puller and to fit odds and end whether in the bed or a trailer. There is a reason why it's Ford's #1 selling vehicle.

Shocking Tremor
The Tremor Turbo I4 is an amazing vehicle: rides well, ample acceleration, comfortable quiet interior, fun off-road, and the little things—- auto hold, adaptive cruise/lane centering, auto climate, extra ground clearance, storage cubbies, paddle shifters, power driver seat, heated seats, and neat AWD with lockable drive. What it needs: garage door button and power passenger seat.

Extremely unreliable, too many recalls to count
I ordered two Mavericks for a fleet. Fortunately only one was delivered. Our Maverick has 37,000 miles and is no longer covered under warranty. It's in the shop as I type. It has been to the shop at least 7 times. We receive a new recall notice every few months and there are two or three open recalls on our vehicle right now. Since new it leaked water into the passenger compartment. It took several trips to the dealer to resolve, after the last visit a large chunk of Styrofoam was left on the floor, which I'm sure is part of the safety feature of the dash. One of the axles failed while under warranty, and unfortunately another (perhaps the same one, we're still waiting for an update from the shop). The poor reliability and constant recalls are ridiculous. One of our open recalls is for the engine. On paper this seemed like an outstanding vehicle. However, the seat comfort and ride quality are not great. And one thing that's absolutely horrible is the integration of the cell phone. When receiving a phone call, you have to unplug and then plug the phone into the cable before the car will recognize the call and broadcast over the speakers. And the quality of the audio for the other party is absolutely horrible. Yes, the mileage is very good, and the utility of the truck is decent, but the quality and reliability are an Achilles heel. I will likely be replacing this truck since it is no longer under warranty and continues to have serious issues.

Exactly What It Says It Is!
We bought a HYBRID Lariat Maverick. It is plain but functional. But with heated sears, heated steering wheel, full complement of infotainment and safety features for $38000. You can’t go wrong. Comfortable and smooth riding. Yep Ford has a winner!
