Best Vehicle I have ever purchased

Love the car/truck. At first I thought it was ugly but now it has grown on me. I am constantly getting compliments on it. Everyone asks about the mileage. I drive 132mi rnd trip each day to work half the drive thru hilly mountain roads the other half on interstate. I average life time of the vehicle 41.1 mpg I don't drive hard "about" 5mph over speed limit. I love the lane assist feature and constantly use the radar cruise control feature to maintain distance between the car in front of me. I use the eco feature on interstate and normal mode thru the hills. I have not towed with it so I can not tell about tow mode but must say that I hate sport mode with the fake shifts the CVT provides. I do wish the eco mode would stay on after I shut off the vehicle. I also do not like the fact that the trip resets once the door is opened. I wish the phone would connect thru bluetooth as I use it for primary music and map functions. The Ford app to start the vehicle is nice as it is warm or cool when I get into it. Also the heated steering wheel rocks. Major improvements ford can make to this is AWD and plug-in hybrid technology.

2024 MAVERICK hybrid DEAD EVERY DAY

So, my 6 month old, 3000 mile truck goes into "deep sleep" and can not even open the door. Dead as a squashed water bug. Happened 4 times in as many days, Twice in 1 day. Ford road assist came and jumped the 12v battery each time and then I had them tow it to a Ford dealer who after a day and half found nothing wrong and left it with the same battery. Way too many electronise, sensors and modules. Has to be a programming issue that all these electronic crap draws voltage from the 12v battery. Dealer said the 12v batteryI dont know if it will start e runs all the electronics in the vehicle and the hybrid battery operates the rest. Bought so atb 74 yrs old I would have a reliable vehicle instead I have a vehicle that I dont know if it will start. Maverick truck club folks say they have to use a trickle charger every day. Well, that will not work if I go on a trip without returning home for a charge. AVOID THIS UNPROVEN UNTESTED UMRELIABLE HYBRID MAVERICK.

2024 Tremor good and bad and update

Highs, drives great, smooth riding truck, comfort seat, looks great and lot of custmations you can do, 26 MPG not too bad. It is a very likeable daily driver. Lows, mine develop lots of interior rattles before 500 miles, both front door panels and door latches went bad and are being replaced. Interior plastics are cheap along with hardware, don't think it will age well. Would I buy it again ? Too soon to answer since I only owned it for 3 months. Update 05/25. Have about 5000 miles now. Gas MPG is good at 26 to 28 in mixed driving, 2.0 turbo engine has been flawless, power is impressive, transmission shifts great. Tremor package rides very smooth over all road conditions, better than all other Mavericks. Seats are very comfortable. Drives very good, handles very good, hauling 900+ lbs in the bed was no problem. Tremor package off-road capabilities won't disappoint, it will go places that other small trucks costing $10,000 more struggles to go. What I dislike, lots of annoying little interior rattles is my main problem with it, seems like it's always getting different ones. In 2025 this truck has become very expensive with a big price increase and probably more to come with all the tariffs. Tremor has become its own trim model and equipt like a Lariat which puts its price over $40,000. Base truck are now 30,000. My XLT with Tremor package stickered for 34,000 in 2024. Would I buy it again? At 34,000 even with the cheap interior based on its capabilities didn't seem like a bad price, but now over 40,000 I would say no and look at the midsize trucks.

Love this vehicle. Only put 2000 miles on it but very impressed with it. I have always had full size pickups but I read the reviews and knew what to expect. What I love most about the truck is that it is comfortable and roomy for a small truck. It is great on gas mileage. I have been getting over 30 miles to the gallon and I have the turbo engine. It has great pick up on the highway! I have all wheel drive and is good in the snow. The two cons I have is it is a hard ride and a little loud but it doesn’t bother me. For the price it has exceeded by expectations.

Quality issue, customer support

If you would like to be at your local dealership every week, this car is definitely for you! So many recalls in the first year—this is what you can expect from a brand new car. From day one, I had problems with a freezing screen (a software issue). After that, the car stopped by itself during the drive and went into limp mode (another software issue). Now, it occasionally makes a loud buzzing noise from the speakers, and Ford doesn’t know how to fix it. Dealerships can’t reproduce the problem because it happens sporadically, and all Ford can recommend is scheduling another appointment at the dealership. By the way, the issue of the car stopping by itself happened again even after their recall. Worst customer experience ever. Mpg is great by the way!
