Used 1999 Chrysler 300M Consumer Reviews
300 M
This car has had alot of problems:AC, compressor, emergency flashers that come on by themselves, flickering headlights, courtesy lightcovers coming off, power windows that don't work (1 actually shattered and had to be replaced)and backing up very fast without the drivers foot even on the pedal and the paint has faded from red to pink.
Even after 5 years, it's a great car
After five years and 120,000 miles, I still love this car! Reliability has been excellent. The power, comfort, luxury and room has no match in this class or price range. Why DC decided to end the run is a mystery.

Chrysler's Baaaack!!!
I evaluated 6 other autos before catching wind of Motor Trend's '99 Car of the Year- I'll own the 300M series until they stop making them once again!
Great Car
Bought it new when it first appeared, and I never buy a new model, but fell in love with the looks and performance. Like the drive and the features, especially the heated seats in these North Dakota winters. Did have to replace a couple of sensors under warrenty, but no other problems and the gas mileage is great.
Great car but quirky
My 99' 300M has been pretty good so far. I've had my door window motor replaced and there's a distinct creaking in the front end, which goes away after the dealer lubes it but it returns within weeks. I've had a lot of problems with front end shaking while braking from highway speeds and have had the brakes and rotors done with no change in the problem. I strongely suggest a nose bra for you highway drivers like me. I love the power and the upgraded stereo was worth the extra money. The gas mileage has been better than expected for a large car and I've been averaging around 23mpg. I only run 93 octane as the engine knocks at 89 and 87.
