Very Versatile!
We love this multi-purpose truck! It accomodates us on our camping trips, hauling the kids bikes, and provides a very comfortable ride around town and on long distance trips. (We do have some concerns about the quality of GM's workmanship tho)
Functional and Fun
This is a great vehicle. It has numerous features that turn out to be very useful, such as side compartment that also serve as ice coolers. The fact that the bed drains is nice during the winter. Interior is extremely roomy (I'm 6'2")and comfortable.

Fun
A little pricy even on base models. Tow package should be installed on all models standard. A little taller than regular trucks is a plus.
Best ever
I've had Hondas, Jeeps, and truck and the Avalanche has been the best vehicle I've owned. You have to get the Z-71 package to appreciate it.
Better than a Caddy for less
The most complete vehicle I have owned in years. Will trade for a new one if this one ever dies. Engine does well above expectations. Interior is like sitting in my own private entertainment center.
