Fast & Comfortable!
My first BMW. I have put nearly 50k miles on it in 1.5 years. The only problem I had is a single parking sensor failed around the 40k mark, easily replaced. I am hooked on BMWs now! Do wish that BMW offered more tech in the lower series models though. Best I can get in a 2-series is adaptive cruise control.

Feels like a cheap economy sports car
There's so many little details all over that just make me feel like I'm almost driving a cheap knock-off compared to driving older BMW's. Such a lack of attention to detail and such cheap components just tells you how much they will cut costs while jacking up the price. The wireless charger they put in this vehicle you should have for year and years to come...a fast charger, right!? Nope. Just garbage slow trickle wireless charger that won't even be able to actually charge your phone if it's connected to android auto because it's SO slow. So they of course put a usc-c fast charger front and center to use? Nope. Usb-A slow charger. The paint chips like crazy, it's a sports car, it should have quality paint that can handle a little at speeds. Even the glass gets nicks easily. The steering wheel warmer is terrible. The seat warmer, and reardefroster doesn't seem to be able to activate with remote start. The car gets bigger and the space in the back seats just gets smaller. The voice controls are terrible & they don't even have a detailed list of commands for you to use. I'm 6 foot tall and the whole console is way too far. The controls are terrible, all feeling the same when you want some type of textures to differentiate while you're trying to use buttons while driving. It's ridiculous how uncomfortable the whole thing is, I'd put it 1.5 or 2 steps above those basic work trucks that have terrible cheapest possible seats. The window sill is too high, and door armrest is too low. The seats feel like they're made to accommodate an ever increasingly obese population and I'm not even skinny. All in all it feels like BMW now stands for Barely Made Working. And they should remove any references to "driver experience" or whatever they always try to brand themselves with because that's not remotely true anymore.

I wish this handled as well as our.Outback
35 mpg on my recent 1600 mile trip is superb. Seats are great as is the effortless power. Now to the truth about modern BMW’s. The steering feel is terrible with less feel than a Logitech wheel, Braking feel is worse and unpredictable. When you try to stop this car, it feels like something is pulsing the breaks and transmission. I don’t get this ultimate drivers car, this is the modern Eldorado.
