Where do I start...We reserved our 2023 Q7 11/26/22 with a 1K deposit. We were excited and impatient in some ways as it wasn't supposed to arrive between 1/5/23 - 1/15/23. Anticipating and excited about this car, I even tracked the vessel it was on as I work in the maritime industry. Come Saturday, 1/7/23 I get an email from Audi titled "The Wait is Over". I knew the vehicle arrived that day as the vessel had docked that morning. So Monday 1/9/23 roles around, knowing and respecting that our salesman was on vacation, we call Audi West to see or know if the vehicle was actually on the lot to make sure it was the right color & we wanted to test drive it. The person on the phone at the time said it was there. Tuesday rolls around, 1/10/23, I called Audi West to say my wife will come by to see the vehicle, the Salesman (not sure who this person's name was) said come on by. So my wife leaves work early and arrives at Audi West, and long story short...they sold our vehicle to someone else. Our Salesman (not naming anyone) at the time we reserved the vehicle was great. I have no quarrels with our Salesman as he was out on a much deserved vacation, I do have issues with upper management/other personnel at Audi West as to how they let this happen, selling a vehicle we reserved to someone else. This was supposed to be my wife's Christmas gift but it all got shattered this day, 1/10/23. I'm sure there are positive reviews / experiences by others at this dealership...but i wanted to write this to let others know as well as Audi West how immoral this was. We will be contacting the BBB and Audi Corporate on our experience.

My second request was met with an offer of a "VIP" appointment with a sales specialist who would have all the information on the car and the car cleaned and ready for a test drive. We made an appointment for Saturday 1/7/23 at 1100. I received email confirmation of the appointment at the time the appointment was made and then again on the morning of the appointment. When we arrived the gentleman who greeted us scampered off to find the senior sales manager to assist us. The gentleman came back a short time later to inform us that the car was not at the lot and in fact it was in "recon" which implied to me the car was not in the condition it had been advertised. We were told to wait in the lounge where we could find coffee and water while this gentleman went to retrieve the aforementioned vehicle. After several minutes of wondering why we were doing business with this incompetent and inconsiderate business we decided to simply get into our car and leave.

They didn't send any documents for my registration to Dealer Docs until June 30th, 43 days later--meaning they took no action on my documents for 6 weeks. I called Dealer Docs LLC on my own to find out they informed Audi North Austin on 7/7/22 that they needed a bill of sale and an Arizona emissions test in order to finish my registration. It is now 7/12 and no one from Audi has reached out to me to tell me of the additional items needed. My temporary plates expire on 7/17/22 and I am currently still in Texas taking care of sick relatives and cannot get back to Arizona until August 4th to get the additional documents. They are now not responding to me on how to get temporary plates to bridge the gap between my expired temp plates and the required emissions test. I suspect they did this so that I would not refinance my autoloan before they were paid on it. There are also other reviews online citing the same issue, and they are not out of state residents. Some people citing 100+ days to receive their registration.

My husband and I had gone in to test drive a Q8 a couple weeks ago , and ultimately decided I wanted to look for an SQ7 for the third row and more HP. Sales rep David that day was amazing ! Wasn’t rushing me , we test drove multiple vehicles , and he stated they didn’t have an SQ7 at the time , but would call me when they did. Fast forward a week , he calls to say they have one and to come drive it. I had to fly out for a funeral , so I said I would come the next week. Then comes today. I went in to drive said vehicle I’ve been waiting 2 weeks to do drive , but David was not there. The joke of a sales manager Jazz was VERY pushy , wanting me to drive the car to my husband at work so we could buy it right then and there. I said no , I will come back with my husband when he’s not at work IF I like the vehicle. He then proceeded to tell me “we don’t just let people test drive $100k cars if they’re not going to buy them” , and I was in utter shock. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to buy a car that I can’t test drive. Needless to say , I will never be doing business here. And from the looks of the other reviews , I’m not the only person who has had a bad experience with this man.
