Chief Executive Magazine and Edmunds.com Announce the Best Cars for CEOs
SANTA MONICA, Calif. — September 14, 2011 — Chief Executive magazine and Edmunds.com, the premier online resource for automotive information, today revealed the first part of the series "Top Wheels for CEOs."
The first list, entitled "Cars for Work," presents five cars that offer comfort, performance and high-tech features but are also sensitive to appearances — essential in an era of intense scrutiny of corporate leaders.
"These wheels will carry you in comfort, while making the kind of statement you're comfortable with," noted co-authors Bill Holstein and Edmunds.com Executive Editor Michael Jordan. "They are both practical and pleasurable — they will actually make you look forward to your daily commute, yet won't draw undue attention in the office parking lot."
The cars on the list are:
- 2011 Hyundai Equus — What it says about you: You demand outstanding value for your money
- 2011 BMW 335d — What it says about you: You're open to counterintuitive ideas
- 2012 Chevy Volt — What it says about you: You're committed to innovation in all aspects of life
- 2011 Audi A8L 4.2 FS — What it says about you: You demand technological excellence
- 2011 Mercedes-Benz S400 Hybrid — What it says about you: You are always looking for smart choices
More commentary on these choices are featured in the September/October issue of the magazine and at http://chiefexecutive.net/top-wheels-part-i-five-cars-for-work.
The magazine's November/December issue will present five cars that deliver powerful performance for CEOs during their leisure time.
