Michael Teo Van Runkle

Michael Teo Van Runkle has worked in the automotive industry since 2019 but the car bug first bit when he was a kid, staring out the window at all kinds of makes and models while stuck in LA traffic. After mastering stick shift in a 1948 Chevy pickup with no first gear, he began a labor of love on a six-speed Mk1 Audi TT that eventually led to a career in auto and moto journalism. He's currently splitting daily driver duties among a Mitsubishi Montero, Pajero Evolution, and Mighty Max while the 914 project sputters along.
