  I HAVE JUST REPLACED THE TIMING BELT ON MY 1998 mazda millenia. AND NOW AM HAVING TROUBLE GETTING IT TO START.. WHERE CAN I LOCATE THE DIAGRAM FOR THE TIMING MARKS TO MAKE SURE I HAVE IT TIMED CORRECTLY ?

  I have a 1998 mazda millenia and 5 days ago i had the trans spd sensor replaced.then i was driving and it slammed into gear and the engine light came on and the hold light started flashing.I put it on a otc computer and the same trans spd code came up,do u think i could have just gotten another bad sensor or do u think it's something inside that is messing ...   i own a 1998 mazda millenia, my dad gave it to me, i just wanted to say that i find it interesting about all of the problems people have posted. i expereince very few of them, beside the check engine light, which doesn't bother me any more, so long as i know that its the o2 senser, but beside that... nothing. now alot of posters say they buy the car used,well... ...   Hey everyone new to this forum just wondered if anyone has or knows anything about putting in an aftermarket speakers or subwoofer in a 1998 Mazda Millenia S...as the Bose stereo makes it hard. I find the bass lacking and wanted to put a 12' Alpine Type R sub in the trunk that i have lying around. Thanks Jeff

  I'm not sure i'm in full agreement with you on the depreciation of maxima vs. millenia. I just traded my 2000 maxima (original price $25k) after 5 years and 60k miles for $11k on a 2005 maxima ($14k depreciation over 5 years).   I just bought a 1998 mazda millenia and the check engine light was on. I'm being told it is an oxygen sensor.....sounds like a common problem. Since i have not yet taken delivery of the vehicle, should i be concerned as long as they replace the sensor? otherwise the car is in wonderful condition inside and out.

  They are working on that now. Another issue if Mazda is to grow their fleet of cars most Mazda dealers are pretty small right? I found an AllData service bulletin TSB 0600103/0600101R1 that deals with stuck and inoperative tilt on the millenia. My dealer says that the motor is gone, and yet it works intermittently.
