Collected car from airport car park - noticed heater controls were not working - cool air from centre vent driver side - warm air from centre vent passenger side. Ken: Easy way to tell what trannys in the car - the ZF is a 6 speed, the Ford box is 5. I picked up a CPO 2006 S-Type VDP model earlier this year from the local Jag Dealer. Welcome back nlkleinberg. There's nothing wrong with trading in your old car when leasing a new one. Just make sure to have the dealer that you are working with cut you a check for any equity that you have in your trade rather than using the proceeds from it as a capitalized cost reduction for your lease. My wife is a X-plan member because of her employer, which allows us to purchase a Jaguar at 4% above invoice without negotiations. A S-Type with the options we want has an invoice price of $46,974 plus the 4% mark up of $1,990 for X-Plan members totalling $48,964. Want to know how leg room (front and rear) is figured in cars. I see the long wheelbase 2006 XJ Jaguars rear leg room is listed as 39.3", while a 2005 Buick Le Sabre had 39.9". The Edmunds editor's review of the long wheelbase Jags says there is 5 more inches of rear leg room than the regular Jags. What's the story?
