Honda has been releasing new model year in September and Acura's in April for as long as they sold in the US. I personally would not be interested in a CRV that had been used as a rental. I would take the advice given in another post and wait a few more weeks to get a great deal on a 2010 leftover. Try at the end of August....or even Sept.

I also think this is high - as are most Honda dealer used car prices when first posted. The CRV (along with almost any Honda) does retain an impressive percentage of original price however. Seems high for a used CRV LX 4WD. I'd try to get it down closer to $18,500. Check used prices at nadaguides.com and kbb.com. I think a lot of the pre-owned CRVs on the lots right now may have been rental cars :( Hope you get a good deal!

In 5/2009 I replaced my AC compressor at 80,000 miles on my 2004 CRV. Honda paid half and I paid half. NOW 18,000 miles later; my compressor is failing. It is just outside of the warranty! GPS for Honda CRV
I have a 2009 Honda CRV EX-L without navigation. I bought a Garmin GPS and was wondering what would be the best mount for the GPS ? I was leaning toward the Garmin friction dash mount that forms to the dash, however I am not sure it will fit or stay on the dash because it is not smooth. Does anyone have any experience with this ? Please advise.

The $21200 does not include TTL. Please notice that the price difference is around $1200 between 4WD and 2WD. In case you paid $1500 fees (including tax), your car price is right at $20,000. Therefore, $21500 is a pretty good OTD price. Regards.

We quoted a 2010 LX 4WD for $21200 with destination included plus 1.9% 36 month financing, but not TTL, in the end of November. Most dealers offered us around $21400 to $21800, although we finally settled on an EXL-NAV 4WD. You may need to wait till the end of the month to get a better deal. Paid 10K down, the dealership wouldn't let me get the 1.9% APR deal despite our good credit (They said we'd need to pay $1000 more on the car to get that deal), but said we could pay off the car after 4 monthly payments, which we plan to do. The price is kind of too high considering it is $1 higher than the invoice of the 2009 CRV EX AWD. In my opinion, you should be able to get a 2010 CRV AWD EX at this price. We went to a dealer 50 miles away to get a white 2010 CRV EXL 4WD at a pre-agreed price of $26200 plus TTL, but the exact same car in that dealer's stock was sold to someone else when we got there. We ended in buying a white EXL 4WD with Navi for $27850 plus TTL. Financing is through Honda @ 1.9% for 36 months. Any thoughts?

Just purchased a Silver 2009 CR-V LX. Paid $19,774 (including $710 destination fee) plus $499 Doc Fee, 3.5% Sales Tax and $16 Title fee. OTD price was $21,000. Was this a fair deal? I think the Doc fee was extremely high, but that is what all the Honda dealers in Northern AL charge. The dealer add-ons included mud-guards, pin stripe and paint sealant.

Hold back is one thing.....stock is also why prices are kept high. South Alabama have very few CR-V's on their lots. I was told cash for clunkers was a big hit and moved many CR-V's. Makes me feel great as a tax payer when not only am I subsidizing the automotive industry.....BUT not catching a break on sticker price. I'll just wait things out!

I couldn't have done it without help from this forum Cap Adjusted Cost $20600 (20,000 + acquisition fee) Residual $12964 Least term 36 months Down payment 0 Lic/Reg/1st Month $700 Monthly payment $298 (includes CA tax) I think the monthly could be a little lower maybe $290 if I didn't give in right away...

For the same vehicle but a 2009, monthly would be $439 vx $499 for the 2010. Either the dealers are discounting the 2009's to get them off the lot or Honda is giving better terms on the 2009's as incentives.....

Honda's website has the current specials and figures on the 09, there are none on the 10'. I tried ride with G, there is no post up about it but as suggested I will register and ask on the forums there. I will post what I find Sorry, I missed that it was for 2009.

I think $299 per month is the standard Honda incentive to lease a CRV, at least a 2009. But I'm not sure what the fees are, down payment is, or which trim line it applies to. Check the Honda website for whatever year CRV it is, then look for incentives/offers by your zip code. Be guided by that.

Here is Honda's press release on 2010 pricing. http://corporate.honda.com/press/article.aspx?id=5184 For an EX 4WD, MSRP is listed as 25,095 For 2009, it was listed as 24,695. Difference of $400 if just comparing MSRP. I think the EXL was $500 more.

I checked the alignment specs between 2008, 2009, 2010 crv models. The caster angle was increased from 1.5 to 3.0 between 08 and 09 models and then it was reduced to 2.5 in 2010 model. My interpretation of last reduction is that Honda admitted issues with steering. This caster change should reduce the efforts needed to steer the vehicle and as a side effect it might make PTTR issue less noticeable ... Read More

If you live in Florida or California, you must purchase the extended warranty from the dealership as the States Law requires. I have had to do this in my state of Florida. Cost more as well and those that live in other states are lucky to have options that cost half as much....
