Hi kb2010. General Motors just introduced its November programs yesterday. Unfortunately, it pulled the plug on its special lease program for the 2009 Escalade, so if you were planning on leasing one you are out of luck. It did however introduce a new special lease program on the 2010 Escalade. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum

  • Brakes Locking up on a 2002 Cadillac Escalade

Written by: thopkins on Oct 17, 2009 8:56:14 PM

I have a 2002 Escalade and since January 2009 I have been experiencing some problems with the brakes. When coming to a stop or idling , I noticed that the brake pedal locks up when I get between 1-5 mph... Prior to the brakes locking up, the truck makes a humming/growling noise which sounds like it's coming from the accelerator or somewhere in that area. I have also had a problem ... Read More

Cadillac Escalade Lease Questions

  • Re: Cadillac Escalade Lease [leasegirl]

Greetings to the appropriately named leasegirl. General Motors is currently providing an extremely attractive lease rate on the 2009 Cadillac Escalade. Unfortunately, this truck's residual values are absolutely terrible. GMAC's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Cadillac Escalade AWD with 15,000 miles per year are 0.4% and 28%, respectively. In an effort to make up for this horrible residual value, General Motors ... Read More

I just heard on Fox that Hannity is going to be one of the first in line for the new 2009 Escalade Hybrid. I hope to be next in line. It will hve to be seen about the actual MPG. But it will be better and I can't believe the Cadillac owners-lovers in this country are not buzzing on this information. I can hardly get a rise-up...I am excited about the ... Read More

Even BMW, with their excellent 535i, has not announced plans to abandon the 550i. I also agree with pretty much everything you say but do no wait for BMW to announce dropping the V8 in the near term. They will continue to pay gaz guzzler taxes until the tax is so high actual buyers refuse to pay it. BMW will just pay the penalties as long as consumers support them. When ... Read More

SO what are you going to do reply to every post between now and June? Multiple back to back replies on a topic have always been my definition of insanity for online forums. EDIT second reply... Cadillac Escalade truck - get rid of this stupid anachronism! It might've made sense back in the 1990s, but it's an embarrassment today. Cadillac Escalade truck - get rid of this stupid anachronism! It might've made sense back in the 1990s, but it's an embarrassment today. You don't see Toyota making a Lexus truck out of the Tundra! Sorry to be a spoiler. The new 2009 Sequoia is just that. It is a big Tundra based SUV 5.7L engine and all. Bigger than the Escalade/Tahoe.. I suppose they will build the new Land Cruiser ... Read More

Media has a lot to do with it. Most would argue that hip-hop rescued both Cadillac and Lincoln from obscurity with Escalade and the Navigator, respectively. I will respond to the above post re: foreign companies importing tried and tested models to the states. Where shall I begin? The Nissan Versa -- a Renault. The Prius was initially tried and tested in Japan before the generation we call the Classic was ... Read More
