I have a 1993 Regal Limited Coupe and had this problem. Replace the turn signal swith as I also had a problem with the left side brake lights. No problem since. You have to be careful to order the right part though as the turn signal switch on these cars come 1 of 2 ways. 1 with radio controls on the sterring whelland the 2nd without. Hope this helps. Not too sure about 93 Regal's setup. When you say running temp of the car, do you mean the motor? or the passenger compartment? If you're saying the motor itself is hot and upper radiator hose stays cool until thermostat opens..., is radiator full -- not reservoir, the actual radiator. Leaks will often drop that level without using reservoir fluid to refill. Then the heater doesn't get proper flow. Is the ... Read More

Hi, my Buick Regal runs really cold. I've put three different thermostats in it finally leaving a 195 in it. When the car is at idle the heat from the vents gets a little warmer, once you start to drive it gets cooler. The running temperature of the car is only 50F at best. Can any give me an idea as to what this may be. Any help would be appreshiated. ... Read More

I have a 92 Buick Regal and a couple years ago I have the same problem of smoke coming from the steering wheel and the smell of an electrical short right after starting the car. For me the problem was in the turn signal switch, just behind the steering wheel. A couple of the contacts shorted causing the smoke and eventually the lose of bake lights on the rear passenger side. ... Read More

Add to 153. I took steering wheel apart and ckd wiring harness running underneath steering column. No bare spots or pinched wires. Several relays along with ignition switch is attache to top of steering column. I did not take any of these out. Drove car over weekend and no problem.
