  • Re: 2013 TSX Base [igozoomzoom]

Leased cars are usually under warranty. Note also that maintenance is included with BMW warranty, not so for an Acura. Acura maintenance will cost about $700-800 for the first three years. Which translates into $20-25 per month for a 36 month lease.

Thanks igozoomzoom and Car_Man. An extra set of eyes always helps. Drove the 320i base last weekend and I must say it drives fantastic. not sure we will go that road as ultimately we would flip to a finance and I don't want long term repairs on a bimmer to be sure. But it is great pressure on Acura in addition to your feedback on the pricing overall. I appreciate the ... Read More

    Written by: Car_man on May 15, 2013 4:54:42 PM

Hi bzwerlin. The dealer invoice price of a base 2013 TSX Sedan is $29,614. If we subtract the $1,000 cash incentive that is currently available on leases of this car from that it drops to $28,614. This deal looks like it's a couple hundred dollars over invoice, not $1,500 under, but it's still a good deal. I don't think that a Volvo necessarily should command a premium over an Acura, but ... NEW Development....I’m very seriously considering buying her G37 instead of her turning it back in to the dealer! I’ve never seen the car before and I just assumed it was a Journey with Premium Package, like 99% of leased G37 models. I tried not to think about why she was paying $500/month for it and a 2013 can be leased for $299/mo....but I just got the answer about an hour ago. ... Read More

Hi folks, I’m in a bit of an odd situation. A friend of my mom’s has a 2010 Infiniti G37 Journey 4-door and her lease expires in a few weeks. Initially, I just gave her some recommendations on certain models to check out and a few good lease specials that also might interest her. But now I’m basically her ‘wing man’ and I hardly know her. I definitely prefer the 2013 Accord over the 2013 Altima. The Altima is getting blander with each redesign and it kinda feels like it’s trying to morph into a Camry! =/ I spent a weekend with a 2014 Accord Sport CVT a few months back (my bro-in-law runs the body shop for a big Honda/Acura dealer and he brought it home for me). I’m still not a CVT fan and I ... Read More

You should definitely see what Acura Financial Services can offer you. They often run special low APR offers on Acura CPO vehicles, much like they do on new Acura models. They were recently offering 1.9% for up to 36 months or 2.9% for up to 48 months. The only potential limitation that I've noticed is that the CPO financing deals usually don't extend beyond 48 months. I am in the market ... Read More

I'd personally recommend looking at used cars a level up. For instance, the Accord in the U.S. is actually a model in-between the Civic and the Accord in Japan. What the rest of the world gets as the "Accord" is actually sold as the Acura TSX in the U.S. The solution then, would be to consider the real Accord, or a 2-3 year old TSX for the price of a new ... Acura would have some easy remedies for slow sales of the TSX. First, since the '09 is a totally new model, it shouldn't do too badly the first year, but we'll wait and see. For 2010 there will be the diesel option, which should provide some incremental sales. If that doesn't do it, Acura could swap the turbo motor from the RDX for the NA engine, at no additional charge, for ... Read More
