I've had 3 EV's....a Nissan Leaf, a Chevy Bolt, and now an ID4 Pro S. I have loved them all but wanted a larger car, so I traded in the Bolt. The ID4 is an outstanding vehicle and I love to drive it. It handles very well and is great on the open road or in the city. The technology is amazing and I haven't had any serious problems with the infotainment system but the voice activation … will occasionally alert when someone in the front passenger seat is talking and have not said the magic words, "hey I.D." The face of the key fob is totally smooth for each of the actions intended, so it is easy to set off the alarm on the car if the key is in your pocket and you touch it with your arm. It feels like a safe vehicle and the visibility is very good all around the car. The material on the seats is different, but wonderful for comfort and cleanliness. My only wish for something different is that the one-pedal braking would come to a complete stop. When you pull up to a stop light, you can tap the brake and it will "auto hold" but I wish it would do it automatically, like it did in the Bolt. I've always used the one-pedal braking and love it. The fact that VW provides free charging for three years with Electrify America was also a bonus. I have taken two long distance trips and it hasn't cost me a dime in "fuel." The Electrify America stations are good and plentiful throughout the US. The back-end cargo space is not as roomy as I would like it to be, but it is sufficient. Passengers ride comfortably. I purchased the vehicle 21 months ago and am extremely glad I did. The price was great and the value is even better.
