Rwd 5.0 189,000 miles, still running damn good

1999 Mercury Mountaineer
I just bought mine used about a month ago with 189,000 mi on it for$2100, besides needing some new tires brakes sway bar links tie rod ends and upper control arms she runs like a beast doesn't leak anything moonroof did leak at one point so a lot of the electrical is messed up on the inside all outside works, rwd, 5.0, 3500 and the AC works.. and as far as gas mileage goes honestly … you're probably better with the 5.0, it has to work way less than the V6 I know I had a 98 Ford explorer when it was new and it had all kinds of problems way worse than the mountaineer that's 25 years old LOL solid truck in my opinion so far
