Mountaineer runs great, comfortable, fun to drive

2007 Mercury Mountaineer
Bought my 2007 in 2009 as it was previously a leased vehicle with 21 K miles. I have had it for 15 years, perform scheduled maintenance as recommended, and enjoy the comfortable ride and response of this vehicle. Transmission needed major repairs at about 90 K and vehicle is at 136 K with no problems. SUV looks great, good capacity and 16.3 mpg around town and 20.7 mpg on a trip. … Great mileage on tires (65 K plus) and Ford batteries are the BEST! This is a great SUV and I can't figure our why Ford discontinued this model !!! I still have this Merc and I enjoy driving it every other day. It is a great SUV and I will not part with it. Just a Great comfortable, reliable, enjoyable ride !!!!
