2009 Mercury Milan
My 6cyl 2009 Premier has been the best car i've ever owned. Purchased from my best friend's grandma, who only put 9000 miles on it 6 years, I am retiring the car with 232k miles. Purchased in from FL, to CT to CA then back to FL then back to CT and now retiring the car back in FL. She never left me on the side of the road (except when I over-filled a tire and it popped), never broke … down anywhere. The major issues with her were steering/suspension related because I drove her very hard so those were more my fault that the car itself.
One annoying issue was the constant "low tire pressure" warnings and the cd player was very crappy. The interior is very cheap too. It's definitely a warm weather car, it was the absolute WORST in the snow as it's very low to the ground. Although one time, I took a back road in FL that was very sandy, and actually made it the whole way - trucks were stuck even ! The acceleration is awesome on this car. Quick pick-up. Heavy. Sturdy. Reliable. She lasted longer than my marriage :) They definitely do not make cars like this anymore.
