1994 Mercury Capri
i bought this car when i was fresh out of a bad relationship, imagine uma thurman (pulp fiction style), cruisin’ round town in this baby. yeah. that was me. 🤣 the few years i drove her, was definitely the most fun i ever had in a car. she’s a solid girl and never let me down. the only problems that ever arose were due to me not understanding how to keep up a car, not because she was … faulty. except those dang flip-up lights! anyway. i still have her, though she’s just sitting. i have hopes of driving her again, just have to convince the hubby not to sell her because “those days are over” and “it’s not safe for the two year old” nevermind the fact that i was rear ended in this baby, and the woman driving the Honda- totaled her car, and miss capri and i drove away with a small paint scrape, and a sore back. she’s solid. that’s all you have to know. make sure you have a good soft top, or buy a replacement. they’re not too bad, under $400. but i live in the PNW and mine is a little ratty and it gets cold and wet. my dream is to fix her up, paint her baby blue, put a cream leather soft top, and cream leather seats, put some nice speakers and a bitchin’ radio in her, and just cruise on down to california. 🤙🏼
