An Exceptionally Bad Vehicle

2023 Mercedes-Benz EQB
Leased EQB300 July 2023. Loaded with everything except AMG package and custom ordered early in 2023. Car has been in shop 4 times for sensor malfunctions and once for the dreaded reduced power message. That resulted in replacement of rear motor. Next, the radiator flap motor burned out and while being replaced dealer noticed numerous high voltage battery faults. They opened case with MB … who basically said that it is software. Every time this car is in the shop they claim software. Have yet to receive it back after the radiator flap and supposed hv battery software upgrade. But Mercedes doesn't have a clue how to fix this vehicle so keeps saying software. Dealer service is good but they can only go by what MB tells them. Now, on the other level. This car is like no Mercedes I've ever owned and I mean that negatively. The fit and finish is sloppy. The seats are flimsy. The electronics are glitchy. There is no luxury. Might as well have leased a Chevy Bolt. Mercedes rejected the first lemon-law case but I will bring another one. Two dealers have told me they are having problems with EQB's. I didn't realize how cheesy it was, by the way, until most recent dealer gave me an EQE loaner. Now this car looks and feels like a Mercedes. I wish I could just get this car out of my life but to buy out the lease and wholesale it would leave me over $20K under water since its resale is worthless.
