2014 Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive
I’d love to love this car, but it is fatally flawed. You'd think the Tesla powerplant would be a selling point. Instead, it is an Achilles heel. These early generation motors fail 2/3 of the time before 60,000 miles. The repair is $16,000 to $19,000. I know because after four months at the local MB dealer in Santa Monica, the car still isn’t repaired. Don’t buy this car.
