2023 Mazda CX-50
I test drove both turbo and non-turbo models. The turbo model was the best option for my needs. I did find the exterior stunning and had me reconsidering after dismissing the Mazda brand after my CX-5 experience. The cargo area has an advantage over the 2023 CRV -- it folds flat for cargo and possible a night inside when camping in the rain. I did find the interior (e.g. door panels, … instruments, console, dashboard, etc.) very cheap with black plastic and white lettering. For this money, it should rival an Infinity QX-50 interior with soft, plush, and styling features. I will continue my search with Toyota RAV4 and Acura RDX up next.
