2021 Kia Seltos
had the first 2021 seltos on the road in my city, all was good for the first 9 months, then door lock horn and car horn don't work in cold weather, can't get drive mode into eco, stays normal so gas mileage is not good, but most concerning is getting into my car, driving a short distance to my destination, turn off the car and spend 10 to 20 minutes shopping or whatever, get back in to … go to next destination, CAR IS DEAD, no sound, no lights on the dash...nothing
STRANDED, I try to turn over again and again until 2 orange lights on the right side light up, I put the gas pedal to the floor and pump until it starts, and go home.
Over 5 weeks, this happens 6 times, I take it to the dealer and they replace the battery.
One month later, it happened again and my seltos has been in the shop for 2 weeks, I told them I don't want it back until they solve and repair. Only 9700 kms
Otherwise I was pleased with most everything about my seltos, but I am a senior with a support dog who travels with me, and I NEED to be safe and feel safe when I get behind the wheel.
Time will tell, because so far the kia techs at my dealership can't replicate the problem and kia head office are also involved now, apparently this is a unique complaint,
