2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L
95% satisfied with my Cherokee L Summit, but a little worried about long term quality.
Pros: Comfort, looks, silky smooth drive with air suspension (test drive in lower trims suffered far more body roll). This big vehicle drives smoother than any car I've owned. Power is plentiful with the V6, despite what some other reviews say, when I press the pedal at any speed it really goes and … highway passing will not be a problem; Very spacious interior. Kids really love the tech features, especially the LED lighting.
Cons: MPG has not been close to advertised, at an absolute best with max effort toward efficiency I could see it getting 23 mpg, but my total average after 1k miles is just 19mpg, a far cry from advertised. I'm concerned about long term quality as it already has a rough idle to it on start up that I've not felt on any other vehicle I've owned, which is multiple. I've had one plastic cover come off the driver seat where the seat extends and couldn't get it back on, but it's not noticeable really. In further regards to the extending seat, it really doesn't extend far enough or at a correct angle to get full beneficial knee support from it as the feature intends....but it does okay. Unable to get Android auto to work so far, I've done all phone updates as instructed but no success.
Despite my long cons list, I'm really just nitpicking/giving feedback for Jeep improvements. I'm still loving the vehicle. As long it holds up well then I will have no regrets, despite the hefty price tag on Summit trim.
