2024 Honda Prologue
OK I guess I'll start with the positives because it's a shorter list. This thing is fun to drive. I don't know if it's the one pedal driving or it's just a nice ride but I really like the ride in this vehicle. Charging is kind of a pain. Obviously it depends on how much you drive whether you have a 220 charger at your house and how far it is from the fast charger. A lot of people say, … don't get one without the 220 charger at your house, however, getting away for 45 minutes a week and chilling out by myself is kind of nice. So, here are the real problems. I would say it around 5000 miles I started getting a clicking noise when I made a right turn. I told the dealer about it when I went in to get the tires rotated and they said they would look into it fast forward to the next tire rotation and they said it was a known issue and they didn't have a fix for it yet. After about four months, I started getting a warning that said the charge door was open. So I opened it and re-closed it just to make sure it wasn't a glitch, but it is consistently giving me this error with it being closed. This will notify you as you're driving fairly regularly and it is very annoying. I am now getting an error that says service high voltage charging system. Sometimes these errors will pop up back to back and that is very annoying. I have also had it not charge at the charging station, it would start to charge and then about 10 minutes later, it would say cannot charge there may be an issue with the charge station or cord. Personally, I believe it's a problem with the car not the charging station. I am so ready to get out of this I know it's only a three year lease but with this many problems and six months and 10,000 miles I don't imagine it's gonna get better with use. Honda said they ordered the part that they believe is needed to fix the charging door but I don't think they have a fix for the other stuff yet. I've already taken it to the dealership twice which requires me to take a day off work so it looks like all of my vacation time is gonna be spent dealing with this car. I hope they have a buyback and I can get out of it before the three-year lease. I understand that a lot of this is made by GM but I bought a Honda not a GM if I have to ride this lease out and hope that the prologue doesn't leave me stranded I don't think I'll be getting another Honda for a while.
