2022 Genesis GV70
Here is an update, now that i have owned the car for almost a year!!..........even when you leave the car for more then a month...totally shut off....the battery will wear down....my car died after a long visit out of town....the car had to be boosted, and then the battery would not re_charge...dead!!....i brought it to my local dealer......it took a while to even find a replacement … battery!!....using the skeleton key is almost impossible!!... ...i now have the hood open slightly, using a trickle charger. When i travel....now i find, the dealers have the same problem, with their cars on their lot..the batteries die even when off.!!!....i hope Genesis will solve this electrical problem. ..yes..they gave me a free new battery!! May not be a good choice as a secondary car???...KEN..FLA.. 12/7/24 UPDATE... Since I had the new battery installed and factory minor call back repairs...I have had no more Electrical problems....My car is a First year Production....Genesis is constantly trying to be the Number one in it's class......I am still Thrilled with my most modern car of it's kind!
