Not a Windstar

2010 Ford Transit Connect
We loved our 1999 Windstar , but after 400,000 miles it was worn out. The Transit Connect was our best option since it fits in the garage. We have over 80,000 miles on it and outside of normal wear ( tires , brakes and oil ) we have only had a few issues. The first is the tpm system. This works fine until you rotate the tires. With the rear tires having a higher pressure the light will … come one when they are switched to the front and the system needs to be reset. The driver side window motor went out and was replaced about $400.00 with labor ( van was out of warrenty) and the most glaring problem is the lack of power. Remember this thing only has a Focus engine but is bigger and weighs more. It is fine around town and at speeds up to 60 mph which is what it was designed for. It will drive fine on the highway but is noisy rides like a truck ( which it really is ) and struggles with long uphill grades. We have driven our van all over the country and are happy so far.
