Second CMAX Energi - Love IT

2017 Ford C-Max Energi
I now have a 2017 and I had a 2014 CMAX Energi Titanium and SEL, respectively. I am getting 60 plus mpg with 70% highway and non local trips. I save the EV for stop and start situations and generally match the speed limit. Comfortable interior, great visibility and great handling. Quiet car for a wagon like vehicle. Despite the loss of cargo space due to the larger battery pack vs … .regular CMAX, I get a lot of furniture, goods and material into the car with the rear seat laying down. The loading area is not flat but I can put many things in thru the rear hatch and place them on the rear seat area, plus fill the nooks and crannies with loads of treasures. Only downside is that the Ford Navigation System is woeful in so many ways compared to my friends vehicles. Rarely can I use the factory navigation and I resort to my smart phone for directions and maps. I put 45,000 trouble free miles on my 2014 CMax Energi and now have 25,000 miles on my 2017. Minor warranty issues in first 5,000 miles otherwise smooth sailing. I am planning to buy my 2017 at lease end in 2020 as it is such a nice vehicle for me in every way and I feel very ecologically positive charging at night and at power company sites plus I get great gas mileage.
