2023 Hornet GT Plus with tech and Track pack

TH smith, 01/11/2024
2023 Dodge Hornet
1000 miles. This thing is really quick and fairly nimble. It’s front wheel drive biased and you can tell. The 9 speed transmission is pretty good, smooth shifts during hard and light acceleration. We have the Brembo brakes, which I highly recommend. I’m 6ft 210 so it’s a little cramped for me but the seats hold you place. There is very little storage in the front. The wireless phone … charge is in a poor position and has difficulty fitting larger phones. The safety sense camera is not great. Doesn’t work driving into the Sun at dusk or with dew on the windshield in the morning or if there is a little dirt on the windshield. So keep your windshield clean. The infotainment can be a bit laggy at times, but overall I like it. I could go on and on with likes and dislikes. If you want a nice same old same old SUV get a Honda or Toyota and you can enjoy a boring commute on a daily basis. Or get one of these, it is like driving a go cart with 270HP, it is seriously fun. The only other SUV that comes close in fun factor is the CX5 turbo. Get it with track pack and avoid the tech pack on this vehicle. My wife is the primary driver and she loves this thing.
