2024 BMW i5
First EV for me and the BMW has surpassed my expectations. Tech and comfort is first rate. Handling and especially the ride are superior to most other cars that I’ve owned. Disappointed in the rear foot well space, BMW has compromised here, likewise the shallowness of the truck as they fit EV into an ICE based design. Looks great, albeit the rear is a little boring relative to the M60’s … front.
Range ok, think 220 miles and you’d be looking for a recharge. Overall though an excellent ownership proposition for me so far with outstanding build quality, tech, comfort and driving experience. Acceleration is unsurpassed, well done overall BMW.
